PAUL WESTRICK joined Siegel Long Public Affairs in 2021. He began his career as a campaign field operative with experience on four campaigns in three states. He then served for five years as legislative director to a New York City council member where he successfully passed online voter registration, an affordable housing database, and a ballot initiative to reduce the influence of big-money contributions in New York City’s elections.

For three years he served as the Senior Manager of Democracy Policy at the New York Immigration Coalition where he worked to identify and reduce barriers immigrant New Yorkers face in being fully enfranchised and civically engaged; and partnered with elected officials and advocates to implement policy solutions. He led a successful campaign to expand voting rights to 800,000 New York City residents and served as policy lead for a statewide coalition that secured $60 million in state and local funding for a fair and accurate Census 2020.

He holds a BA in Political Science and History from the University of West Florida and an MA in International Affairs from Florida State University. A native of Long Island, New York, he now resides in the South Metro Denver area with his wife and son.
