Carolyn Siegel founded Siegel Public Affairs in 2008, since then the firm has provided a broad range of consulting services including: government relations, strategic advocacy and facilitation, campaign planning, organizational and volunteer training, and engagement and coalition building. In 2022, Becky Long joined Carolyn as a partner and now as Siegel Long Public Affairs we continue to provide services to non-profit organizations, local governmental agencies and community advocates. We work to advance policy on a wide range of issues from conservation, civil rights, consumer protections, jobs, housing programs and tax policy.
We have a comprehensive understanding of the state legislative process and proven relationships with legislators, state agency staff and stakeholders at the capitol. We know what it takes to pass a bill, how to monitor the ever-changing developments during the legislative session, how to build credibility and maximize impact for your organization in the legislative arena. Additionally, Siegel Long Public Affairs engages in state and federal rulemaking on a variety of issues and is skilled at building winning grassroots/grasstops campaigns to influence Colorado policymakers. We understands the type of advocacy that is needed on a state, local, and federal level, and can provide the training and strategic planning organizations require to be most effective.
Our team have directed non-profit organizations, supported partnerships between local government and non-profits, conducted organizational development and strategic planning, led successful electoral campaigns and built effective coalitions of stakeholders to support the policies we are advancing.
